Mommy was gone last week...

 Mommy was at a conference last week and daddy took care of us.  We survived :) 
Since she was gone, we didn't have anything to post.  But she came back and we have gotten to take 2 hikes this weekend and lots of naps!

Mommy is so happy to be back home!!!

Park day!  It was windy and chilly, but wonderful!

But the poopies think I'm crazy for hugging all over them and wanting to take pictures.

They would rather take a nap. After all, it is park day and we hiked for an hour in the woods.  We deserve a nap!

Valentine's Day = new toys!

  

New toys for the poopies in honor of Valentine's Day and because I love them :)

Ave stole the red stick within 5 minutes.

Finley chewed the rope off of the "tuff gear" tire within 5 minutes.  Tuff Gear my foot!  Hartz, bring on some real tuff toys.  Finley will destroy them...

Ava settled into her favorite spot once she had the red stick.









Then she grabbed the tire (and for some unknown reason) and put it on her back.  ???????????????

 

Weird....

The poopies were puppies, it seems so long ago.  Ava is 11 months old today.  Next month she will turn one and Finley will be two.  Where did my tiny puppies go?????
Puppy cake must be made to celebrate :)

Oh, the mud!

You can't really see it, but this handsome face is splashed with mud, as is the body.  It was muddy outside and daddy let us go out to play...in the mud!

Really, the caked on red mud is splattered across Finley's face!

Same goes for this sly devil.  Check out the brown nose...mud!

The floors were mopped last night :(  Then the red, wet mud came across them this morning.

Mommy cried....

We doggies took a nap.

So frustrating to spend so much time vacuuming, then mopping.  And then mud :(

But when I see these poopies being sweet....

andFinley holding my hand, I can't be mad or sad.  Finley likes to hold hands.  It makes me happy.

We are destroyers!

 Or should I say master diggers??????  My once nice, green grass, flat, no holes yard is now a field of holes.  It looks like an Army mine field that has been detonated :(

Back when it was warm...

  It's cold again!

Back when it was warm, sunny, and gorgeous Ava played in her pool

She loved her pool.  I loved watching her :)

But it is cold again today and I am sad.

No pool playing today....
